Bridging the gap between Islamic Heritage and Modernity...
Inspired by the art embodied in Islamic patterns, the masterpieces delivered messages of LOVE, PEACE and HAPPINESS in elegant Arabic calligraphy.
A wide range of raw materials were used such as palm fibers, wood and copper metal.
The techniques used ranged from:
- Quilling paper into Islamic patterns
- Stitching on palm fibers
- Manipulating copper in calligraphic designs and Islamic patterns
- Mixing quilled paper with gouache colours
- Using mosaic to form Islamic shapes on wood.
